Albatross October 26, 2009 at 12:34 am: How could it be the placebo effect? Unless somebody has told you that they have some very enticing pheromones I can’t see how the placebo effect could take place.

Unless you are referring to some kind of store bough pheromone, in which case yes it probably only works in giving you confidence.
line.advice October 26, 2009 at 11:44 am: Don’t think there are actual pheromones but what there is just the general smell of people, particulary the smell under the arms, after washing. It relates to the immune system differences between men and women. The more different often the more attractive it will seem.
