Consider this answer hearsay, because I don't know where I heard this, but--

I've heard that it is uncertain whether or not human pheromones have any significant effect. We have them, but we don't actively take notice of them like animals do (We don't decide to who date by sniffing their crotches). So how great of an effect they have in humans is dubious.

Yes.

You can find out alot about which pheromones do what at this forum:

Read the stickies at the top of the Men's forum.

Most places that sell pheromones, don't sell the real stuff. Only a handful of brands are legitimate - Primal Instinct, Alter Ego, New Pheromone Additive, WAGG and WAGG-n, The Edge, Chikara. Two pheromone products to forget about is that Athena X crap (weak) and Pherlure...no effects whatsoever for me or anyone I know who tested it.

The best pheromone products, however are gotten from Androtics Direct:

You definitely want their A314 product and their Ammunition Product. Read some of the stickies in the forum to get an idea of what the various products do.

If you are skeptical, get a cheap "togo" bottle of the Ammunition product for like $12. There is enough in there to test it out for a few weeks without spending much money at all. After you are satisfied, get A314 and wear the two together. You'll be very happy.

YES! Evolution has blessed humans with the same pheromone response as other animals. Much of the same responses that animals exhibit because of pheromones, humans do as well. Its how we can help explain attraction amongst men and women, why some women who live together sometimes sync menstrual cycles, and how we know when our partner is sexually receptive! If you get a chance to study this, do it! I am a biology major in college who has been studying this for a while now and it is an amazing thing to study!

yes they do, it varies from person to person so not every girl will like the way you smell and it is not generally acceptable to be a bit sweaty (thats when pheromones are most prevelant). As a society we tend to wash pheromones away in the shower and also cover them up with deodorants and after shaves. One way to get more pheromones is to have more sex, a bit of a closed circle I know but it is true, people who have more sex give off more pheromones. It is very difficult to intentionally use pheromones to your advantage. I have simply found that I really like the way my girl friend smells in the morning especially when she is ovulating, that is a pheromone thing and it works the other way around too (although obviously as a man I dont ovulate)
