Realm- it’s a Jones Store exclusive cologne. But it’s gonna cost ya! Oh yeah!
Yeah well so is the perfume industry. They been trying different stuff but believe me it’s formula is a secret. You having a hard time getting attention from the opposite sex?
I don’t know formulas…but I believe that musk oil (from musk oxen) closely resembles some human pheromones..thus it’s use in perfumes…but beyond that sorry I don’t know.
From Wikipedia:
“Some commercially-available substances are advertised using claims that the products contain sexual pheromones and can act as an aphrodisiac. These often lack credence due to an excessive marketing of pheromones by unsolicited e-mail. Moreover, despite claims to the contrary, no defined pheromone substance has ever been demonstrated to influence human behavior in a peer reviewed, published study.”
I think pheromones were first discovered by studying how certain scents which animals emit arouse the opposite sex like when a female cat is in heat. Later studies involved more advanced animals, the primates.
The studies conducted with humans proved less scientific, perhaps because humans use so many scented products. Maybe the lingering odor of the scented products skewed the human trials which proved that pheromones had no effect on the behavior of humans. The study was chalked up to be just silly similar to the innocuous movie, “Love Potion # 9″.
